What is Cryopen and what wonders does this device do?
CryoPen (from English – cryo, freezing / cold therapy and pen – pen) is an innovative medical device that, due to nitrous oxide under pressure, completely painless, bloodlessly removes effectively benign skin growths such as: condylomas, papillomas, sun spots, age spots, hemangiomas, cysts, xanthelasmas, fibromas, warts, keratoses, contagious moles, chicken pox, keloid scars, etc.
How does the device work?
CryoPen emits a fine stream of high-pressure nitrous oxide that allows it to be worked with millimetre precision to remove the desired charring. With it, there will be no danger of affecting surrounding tissue and causing damage to healthy tissue. This device is extremely accurate and practical.
What does Cryopen remove?
CryoPen has incredible precision and delicately treats even the smallest warts, hemangiomas, pigment spots, actinic and seborrheic keratoses, solar lentigo (and many more) in seconds. And all this without damage to healthy tissue.
Bends are not removed with Cryopen.
How long does a CryoPen procedure last?
CryoPen is a device for treating all relevant skin defects in a fast and effective way. The Penetration, or in other words the penetration into the tissue, is at a rate of 5 seconds per 1 millimeter to a level of 5-6 mm in one treatment session. Consequently, procedures usually last from 5 to 25 seconds and patients’ stay in the clinic lasts only a few minutes
What comes next?
Within 5 days to 2 weeks, a crust will form in the treatment area, which will subsequently fall off. Up to 6 weeks after the manipulation, it is good to review the cryoagent application site and, if necessary, re-treat for its final removal.
What are the contraindications for Cryopen?
Contraindications to cryotherapy are severe inflammatory processes on the skin, high fever, treatment with corticosteroids, oncological diseases, severe general conditions of the body.
